U13 is where the skills learned in the TimBit LTP program come into play.
Beginning in this age group, the athletes are divided into A and B teams based
on skill level. This division encourages athletes to try out different
positions - find a couple they like - and begin developing their
skills and knowledge of the game at these positions. This is the age group
where the athletes will begin traveling to tournaments and facing competition
from other cities.
A Teams
Will have travel for games to Lumsden
Will
participate in the Queen City Classic tournament in June
Usually
participate in provincials sometime during first 2 weeks of July
Playoffs will begin the last week of June to 1st week of July
B Teams
Will participate in the Sharon Knott Memorial tournament in May
League playoffs are done end of June and are on a weekend in tournament format
May attend provincials but usually does not. This would be decided as a team
